The Met Galactica

I was tasked with designing the branding and invitations for the Six Billionth Met Galactica, an exclusive gala that brings together the best and the brightest in the intergalactic community. For this I developed an alien botanical illustrative style that fused art nouveau class with space-age glamour. Rich gold on black drips with luxury, and painstaking attention to detail completes the experience.

I worked with a local letterpress shop to dial in a process using dual gold and white foils on a thick, sumptuous cardstock.

I had a stamp made so our invitees would know their mail had come from space via the Intergalactic Terrestrial Post.

I also had an embossing seal made so we could emboss ALL THE THINGS, including very-important-looking foil stamps for the invites.
